A Step-by-Step Guide to Product Photography
1. Initial Consultation
We'll connect in person, over the phone, or via video chat.

I'll explain the process, answer any of your questions, and learn more about you, your brand, and your product.

If we click, we'll make it official!
2. Administrative Details
I'll put together an official quote and send it along with a contract.

Once you sign off and submit the initial payment, I'll sign the contract and send you a copy for your files.

And we'll get started!
3. Discovery
I'll send you a brand questionnaire to gather more specific information about your products and how you sell them.

We'll schedule a planning session.

I'll do my homework. I'll review your questionnaire responses and do research to put together a proposal for your product shots.
4. Shoot Planning & Prep
We'll get together in person, over the phone, or via video chat to review and refine the plan.

We'll define the overall look and feel we're going for with the shots. And we'll finalize the schedule and discuss logistics.

If there are additional expenses for props, I'll prepare and send an invoice following our planning session.

I'll put together a Product Shoot Roadmap to ensure we're on the same page regarding logistics and what needs to be done for each shoot. It'll include the who, what, where, and how for the recurring shoots.
5. The Shoot & Delivery
Once I receive the first set of products, I'll set the stage and take the shots.
I'll deliver lightly edited images cropped and sized as defined in the Roadmap via an online gallery within two weeks of receipt of the products.

If you've requested that I return the products, I'll package them up safely, and ship them back to you. I'll send along an invoice for shipping costs.
6. Follow-up & Repeat
I'll reach out right after delivery to make sure everything is as expected. I want to make sure to keep doing whatever's working and find a better approach for anything that's not.

I'll follow-up about a week prior to the next scheduled shipment to make sure we're on track and to find out if we need to make any changes to the Roadmap.
